How much does mulch cost?
A 100 square foot area, 3" deep would require 1 yard of mulch. Mulch tends to run around $60 per yard. We estimate our guys can spread a yard of mulch per hour (1 man hour). So a yard of mulch plus a $65 man-hour for installation means around $130 per yard added to your property. Other expenses include delivery of materials, trip charges (bring the guys out) and dump fees if materials need to be removed.
